Our Team
Michael J. Hecker
Glass Artist / Architect
Michael studied Art and Architecture at Oxford University in England, Osaka University in Japan, and The School of Architecture at UW-Milwaukee. He is the Owner of Oxford Studios and has been an Architect and Stained Glass Artist since 1996. He founded Oxford Studios in 1999.
Michael meets every client individually and personally designs your project specifically for your site. His Architectural background allows him to design with sensitivity and understanding of the style of your home and also your personal taste.
His love of creating new Stained Glass Artwork and Contextual Architectural Glass pieces are his passion. Michael's work can be found in Homes and Businesses throughout Wisconsin, the United States, and Internationally.
Melanie Brotz
Glass Artist / Photographer
As an Artist, Melanie excels in a variety of Artistic mediums. She is a Graduate of Cardinal Stritch University with a Fine Arts Degree in Photography. Melanie's Artistic knowledge and background, along with her eye for capturing the beauty that surrounds us in her very special and unique way give her the ability to produce timeless Stained Glass Designs in an array of original and historic styles. Her dedication to the highest quality craftsmanship available, and her pursuit of perfection in both presentation and customer satisfaction is unsurpassed. She is a highly respected resource of Oxford Studios.
